Braun's Express Takes Delivery of its First EPA SmartWay Certified Trailers
Braun's Express has taken delivery of its first EPA SmartWay certified trailers, the company reports today. These 10 green trailers join the 18 SmartWay certified tractors already part of the increasingly green Braun's fleet. To be SmartWay certified, a trailer must have low rolling-resistance tires, weight reduction technology, and either advanced side skirts or side skirts and a gap reducer or trailer tail. Braun's Express Receives a Prestigious Environmental Merit Award From the US EPA
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the 2010 recipients of its prestigious Environmental Merit Awards today, and Braun's Express was included in this year's awardees. Braun's Express is Named a Massachusetts Energy Leader
The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) has named Braun's Express as a state "Energy Leader" today. The Department's report praises the company's fuel saving efforts since joining the EPA's SmartWay Transport Partnership in 2004.
